A professional jury will be present to evaluate the projects and decide the MVP-award for each course. This gives the students a unique opportunity to receive valuable professional feedback. Past MVP awards have been given to projects like ARK and Byline for NTB. In addition, the audience will get the chance to vote for an Audience favorite award, which will be presented at the end of the day.

An arena for students to showcase and take ownership of their own projects
We want to give the students an arena, where they can showcase their projects at the University of Bergen. This will give them ownership and influence over what they publish, by giving them the control. UiBArena will also be a source of inspiration for the students, by strengthening knowledge across the faculties.

Connecting students and relevant experience.
Students struggle to land a relevant job after their studies as companies value hands-on experience. This is hard to get as a student as the competition in the job market is high, and having a job outside of university is challenging. So, help us to help students gain experience by helping small jobs and start-ups with Jobbportalen.

An Interactive Online Coding Chatbot for community, collaboration and learning
We are introducing ‘Pythonchat’ – a feature on Teklab where you get help with coding right now, online, with no need to meet up somewhere or feel like you’re bothering the lecturer. We have created this because we see a lack of student resources, after talking to real students during our process. Pythonchat will fulfill the needs of the coding student at our university and hopefully in the future help students everywhere!

Artificial Intelligence in Major Norwegian Media Companies
BRIEFBOT is inspired by the well-known AI agent ChatGPT. The use of AI has exploded over the past two years, both as a search engine and as a helpful assistant. During our fieldwork, we discovered an overwhelming flow of information, with a large volume of messages spread across applications like Slack and email. We also found that the company used an extensive number of applications. BRIEFBOT is a consolidation application designed to bring together all the tools needed for work. By leveraging artificial intelligence, BRIEFBOT can summarize vast amounts of information, allowing employees to focus on what truly matters.
